Classes for Every Fighter

Boxing 101: Foundations of the Sport
Perfect for beginners, this class covers the essential techniques, footwork, and fundamentals of boxing. Students build confidence while learning the proper stance, punches, and defensive moves in a supportive environment.

Intermediate Boxing: Building Skills & Stamina
Designed for those ready to advance beyond the basics, this class focuses on refining technique, improving combinations, and developing conditioning to take your boxing to the next level.

Competitive Amateur: Stepping Into the Ring
For boxers committed to competition, this program requires at least three workouts per week. Athletes sharpen their skills, enhance their endurance, and prepare for amateur bouts under the guidance of experienced coaches.

Advanced Competitive: Elite Fight Preparation
Our highest-level program for dedicated fighters. Requires a minimum of five workouts per week, with matches that may take place outside regular gym hours and locations. Designed for athletes ready to push themselves at the highest competitive level.
PROGRAMS THAT SHAPE FUTURES
Si Se Puede Academic Center
Our Si Se Puede program offers academic and professional support to both CYBC members and community youth. Through one-on-one tutoring, group study sessions, and help with scholarships and résumés, we prepare students for success beyond high school. Participants gain hands-on experience through project-based learning, explore career and trade opportunities, and visit colleges to plan their next steps.
Enrichment & Field Trips
We believe learning extends beyond the gym. CYBC hosts enrichment activities such as yoga, dance, and nutrition classes, and takes youth on trips to museums, beaches, sporting events, and even college campuses. These experiences open doors, broaden horizons, and help youth connect with their community and the wider world.

After School Matters
Through our After School Matters program, high school students gain valuable part-time work experience at CYBC. They assist coaches, support daily programming, and take on administrative tasks, building skills they can use in any future career.
Health & Wellness
Our Health & Wellness programming educates youth on nutrition and healthy eating while providing regular access to healthy snacks. Weekly snack programs and bi-monthly culinary courses give participants the knowledge and tools to make nutritious choices that fuel both mind and body.
Local Events and Gatherings
CYBC hosts vibrant community events that celebrate and connect our North Lawndale and Little Village neighbors. From picnics, BBQs, and block parties to festivals with music, poetry, athletic games, and cultural traditions, we honor both our heritage and Chicago roots while creating shared memories beyond the gym.

Membership is $25/month and includes unlimited classes, open gym access, and full use of all amenities—weight room, boxing ring, bags, and equipment.

Our community events and youth programs are open to everyone—no boxing membership required. While most activities are free, some special events may have a small fee.
