Our Team
Meet the dedicated staff behind our mission—mentors, coaches, and community leaders committed to empowering youth and supporting our vision every day.

Noah Pickens
Executive Director
Noah has spent over a decade educating and coaching youth across Chicagoland. He joined Chicago Youth Boxing Club in November 2022 as Executive Director. Previously, he taught high school Social Studies for eight years, bringing a strong emphasis on teamwork and play to his work with young people.
Jasmin Reyes
Boxing Instructor and Coach
Jasmin is 22 years old and a dedicated boxer with several years of experience as a CYBC member and now as a coach. She began her journey to improve her fitness and self-discipline, and over time progressed to mentoring others. Her dual perspective has deepened her appreciation for boxing as a path to personal growth and community building.

Luis Alberto Perales
Academic and Enrichment Program Coordinator
Alberto has volunteered with CYBC for over ten years, including events like Power Gloves, and has also worked as a tutor for over five years. Now serving as the Academic and Enrichment Program Coordinator, he develops and implements programs that support youth in achieving academic and personal success.
Andres Enriquez
Grant Manager & Writer
Andres joined CYBC as an amateur boxer after earning his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis. A lifelong student-athlete with a background in track and cross country, he is committed to helping youth grow in all areas of life. He focuses on instilling CYBC’s core values to help shape future leaders—and is also the 2024 Chicago Golden Gloves champion.

Felix Gonzalez
Competition and Tournament Coordinator
Felix joined CYBC in the summer but is no stranger to the gym or its history. With over seventeen years of experience coaching youth in boxing, he brings a passion for high-quality instruction and goal-setting. During one-on-one pad sessions, Felix uses smooth, continuous movements to help young boxers enjoy the sport. He believes boxing should be playful, helping athletes stay relaxed and confident in the ring.
Victor J. Alverez
Boxing Instructor and Coach
Victor Alvarez brings over 15 years of youth boxing coaching experience and a deep personal history in the sport to the Chicago Youth Boxing Club (CYBC). He began boxing at the age of 14 and competed for 13 years, compiling an impressive amateur record of 30-4. His career highlights include winning first place at the 2008 Tournament of High School Champions and reaching the semifinals of the 2015 Golden Gloves.
